MEET THE STAFF
Our dedicated and experienced staff is the heart of our cheerleading and All-Star gym. with over 100 years combined experience, our team of coaches and instructors brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to every class, ensuring each athlete receives the highest level of training and support.

Matt
Slocum
Matt started all-star cheer in 1999 for CAS Elite. After high school, Matt attended the University of South Carolina where he was a four year letterman. He earned “Best All Around Male” multiple years. He has coached at multiple programs in Columbia, SC and Augusta since 2003 and has won numerous National Championships. Matt graduated from college with a Bachelors in Education and he went on to receive his Masters Degree in education as well. He currently teaches STEM at Evans Middle. He’s been married to his beautiful wife, Allie since 2008 and they have 3 handsome redheaded boys; Mac, Garren, and Rory.

Molly has loved cheerleading since she was 4 years old, competing for 15 years at all levels and age groups. She is a multiple-time Cheersport National Champion, a Worlds Finalist, and has competed at NCA Daytona at the collegiate level, serving as captain for the University of Georgia’s competitive team. Molly is a founding member of the University of Georgia STUNT team and has several years of coaching experience. She graduated from UGA with Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Consumer Science. Driven by her passion for cheerleading and mentoring young athletes, Molly aims to instill values such as dedication, self-discipline, teamwork, sacrifice, hard work, and lifelong friendships. She is married to her high school sweetheart, and they welcomed their fifth child this past summer.

Jennifer’s passion for cheerleading encompasses all-star, sideline, recreational, tumbling, and stunting classes. She began as a competitive gymnast, reaching level nine before transitioning to cheerleading, where she won numerous individual, all-around, and team GA state titles. Her gymnastics background ensures high-quality technique and skills. Jennifer also competed in all-star cheerleading, winning multiple championships. After high school, she joined the University of Georgia Cheerleading team, becoming a four-year letterman and team captain in her senior year. Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biology and a Master’s in Health Science from Nova Southeastern University. She is a mother of three Her extensive experience and passion for cheerleading is a great asset to our team.

Baker
Kristen spent 12 years in competitive cheerleading, winning several Cheersport National titles, competing at NCA Dallas, performing up to level five, and captaining her high school varsity cheer teams. Her passion for cheerleading extends into her adult life, where she aims to instill discipline, dedication, a strong work ethic, and compassion in young athletes. Kristen, a middle school teacher and experienced cheer coach, is excited to bring these qualities to MCC for a successful season and to be a positive role model. She has a son and a golden doodle named Biscuit and looks forward to meeting the MCC family.
